“Crystal Trinity”命名式　”Crystal Trinity”Naming Ceremony

2021年12月24日、川崎重工業株式会社　坂出造船工場において、LPG船”Crystal Trinity”の命名竣工式を行いました。

本船は、主機に LPG燃料 Duel Fuel 機関を採用しており、従来の油燃料だけでなく、プロパン及びブタンをLPG燃料として航走することができます。

LPG燃料はカーゴタンク内の LPG を利用することに加え、本船の最大の特徴である上甲板に装備された大容量(1250m3) LPG 燃料タンク2基により、貨物とは別に燃料専用LPGを 2,500m3 確保しておくことができます。

LPGを燃料として使用することで、硫黄酸化物(SOx) や二酸化炭素などの大気汚染物質の排出量を大幅に削減でき、2023年から更に強化される二酸化炭素の排出制限（EEXI）にも既に適応しております。

On 24 December 2021, we celebrated the naming ceremony of “Crystal Trinity” at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., Sakaide.

This is a dual-fuel LPG carrier which can sail not only with conventional marine fuel oil but also with LPG fuel propane and butane.

In addition to using LPG in the cargo tanks as LPG fuel, the vessel is equipped with two large-capacity (1250m3) LPG fuel tanks installed on the upper deck, which is the greatest feature of the ship, allowing it to load fuel-use LPG of 2,500m3 separately from the LPG cargo.

The use of LPG as fuel significantly reduces emission of sulfur oxides (SOx), CO₂ and other pollutants compared with use of conventional marine fuel oil. In this way, this vessel will meet carbon dioxide emission limits (EEXI) which will be further strengthened from 2023.
